Amazon requires FBA inventory to follow current preparation, packaging and labeling requirements before it enters the fulfillment network. Incorrect barcodes, labels, packaging or shipment preparation can create delays, rework, added costs or receiving problems.

For the U.S. store, Amazon announced that its own FBA prep and item-labeling services ended for shipments created from January 1, 2026. Sellers therefore need to prepare inventory themselves or work with an external provider before sending shipments to Amazon.

BARCODE BASICS

Each sellable unit needs the correct scannable identification required by the applicable Amazon workflow. Existing competing barcodes may need to be covered or made unscannable when a different barcode must be used.

Can ChengYuShip apply FNSKU labels?+

We can provide labeling support according to seller-provided label files and confirmed instructions. The seller remains responsible for ensuring the Amazon account, SKU and shipment information are correct.

Can you consolidate products from multiple suppliers?+

Yes. Cargo from multiple suppliers can be received at the China warehouse and consolidated before the outbound shipment.

Can you repack products before FBA shipping?+

Repacking can be arranged when the work and required materials are confirmed in advance.

Does Amazon still prep and label FBA inventory in the U.S. store?+

Amazon announced that its FBA prep and item-labeling services for the U.S. store ended for shipments created from January 1, 2026. Sellers should check current Seller Central requirements before every shipment.

Can you ship prepared inventory directly to Amazon FBA?+

We can coordinate international freight and delivery based on current shipment destination and routing requirements. Exact feasibility depends on the shipment, service mode and receiving requirements.

Can you prepare battery products for Amazon FBA?+
